LinkedIn has a plethora of services and products that it offers its 313M + userbase. These include job posts which are aimed at the job seeking professionals and LinkedIn Talent Solutions which helps recruiters find and contact potential leads by using tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, LinkedIn Jobs Network, Career pages and ‘Work with us’. LinkedIn Marketing Solutions is the advertising stream of LinkedIn which generates revenue through display ads, text ads, videos and sponsored updates and they also have a publishing platform where business giants such as Richard Branson have written articles for professionals. There is also the ad-upload function online and strategy services are offered by Advertising Managers which help to create successful campaigns. LinkedIn Sales Solutions is the newest business service offered. It helps sales professionals to stay connected with clients and potential buyers. The LinkedIn Sales Navigator makes it possible to follow chosen contacts and to receive up-to-date information about business partners and companies. This generated knowledge can be extremely useful for sales conversion.  

It’s clear that one of the major successes of LinkedIn is the way it is able to continuously capture the market in terms of targeted specific professional types and launching innovative products suited to their needs. At present, LinkedIn has 4 main subscription models:

LinkedIn Recruiter: These are aimed at recruiters. This features advanced recruitment filters, integrated hiring and the ability to track candidates, as well as all the Premium features. 

LinkedIn Job Seeker: This is aimed at the part of the work force looking for employment. This subscriptions offers the user the ability to see who has viewed his profile in the past and allows the subscriber to send direct messages to recruiters.
